Camera Hot Shoe Cover

I notice Nikon camera hot shoe features small plates curved upwards towards the front, designed to make clipping easier. The standard hot shoe cover has side lips running from rear to front, which I believe will weaken the hot shoe clips if left in place for an extended period. To prevent this issue, I opted for a short lip design (5 mm) that doesn't press against the hot shoe clips. This simple solution effectively covers the pins beneath without any unnecessary flair. When printing at resolutions below 0.2 mm, you'll end up with thicker lips that require more effort to sand or file down slightly.
