Have you ever dreamed of crafting your own camera grip instead of purchasing one? Here it is. Standard 1/4"-20 thread, 3/8" length hex bolts accepted with ease. Thumbwheel included with print, so you don't have to struggle tightening everything by hand or with a wrench. Insert screw (M2x8) optional but highly recommended for added stability. Print Settings Printer: Generic Kossell Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: .2mm is sufficient Infill: 25%+, pistol grips feel more secure in the hand with extra weight Notes: please note that this grip can be printed without supports or printed filament cooling, but you may experience minor deformation of the grip on the bottom side. This is perfectly fine for most people's hands, and I haven't encountered any issues myself. However, this also slightly increases the risk of print failure due to collision (overhands tend to warp upwards); be cautious when printing the bottom half of the grip. (this is a minor word of caution, and it is completely acceptable to do something else while this is printing) Post-Printing Parts Needed 1/4"-20 thread, 3/8" length hex bolts https://www.mcmaster.com/#92240a535 M2 thread, 8mm length pan head machine screws (Optional) Adhesive-backed 60A Durometer 1/32" thick Neoprene Rubber with crisscross texture (doesn't have to be exact) https://www.mcmaster.com/#8445k61 Assembly Group the hex bolt with the thumbwheel Inserting the group into the handle Push the threaded portion of the hex bolt out of the hole in the handle.
