Camera grip (no support needed)
thingiverse
I designed this simple camera grip specifically for use with my camera and phone. Its innovative design allows it to be 3D printed without any support material, consisting of a few parts that must be securely attached together using glue. This design freedom also enables users to choose various materials to create the finished grip's appearance. For instance, I used bronze and wood-infused PLA, combined with chrome model paint, to craft the steampunk-inspired version showcased in these photos. To assemble the grip, you will need a 1/4" Whitworth bolt for the top and a nut for the bottom. These parts can be securely fastened inside the end pieces using glue and small hexagonal inserts. When joining all the components together, I employed two-part epoxy due to its exceptional strength, which prevents the camera from falling. Additionally, in case you wish to customize this design, the OpenSCAD file is included here for your convenience.
