Camera gear, Side Handle grip (Arri Rosette mount & 1/4 screws fixed type)
thingiverse
I wanted to make a side handle for the camera that was easy to hold, stable, and light, so it was easy to use. Since I am not familiar with the ergonomic design, I had to design the handle grip after several modifications in a form that is comfortable to hold with my hand. My hands are of normal (but by no means large) size, so I think the design of this grip is probably suitable for most people as well. I think one of the most important points in the design of the side handle grips is that they are designed to be stable and easy to attach to the camera. Due to the material limitations of 3D printing (and also the PLA filament is used), it was not easy to install it safely and easily. Therefore, I thought that the method of using off-the-shelf metal parts was more effective than anything else. Among them, Ali Rosette Mount was my favorite. Therefore, it is designed as a type that can be used only with 3D prints and screws, and a type that requires separate off-the-shelf parts (two largely). See the link below for information on off-the-shelf components compatible with STL files for output. https://surplusperson.tistory.com/766
