Check out this video for a DIY swing arm lamp modification that turns it into a desktop cam (http://vimeo.com/57246871). This hack is great for documenting your projects with an overhead view. You'll need 6 machine screws, 6 nuts and a 1/4-20 x 0.5" bolt for the camera attachment (standard size). The next version will improve convenience, but this setup works well!
