Camera Gantry

This DIY desktop photography setup involves a gantry-like structure, inspired by a traveling crane design. It allows for various camera orientations and heights, easily locked in place with end knobs. The non-plastic parts include four 12mm aluminum tubes, a plywood base, two M6 hex bolts, and four M4 bolts. Plastic parts are printed using PLA or ABS, with options for purchased rubber caps on tube ends. Assembly involves an M6 bolt, lock rings, end cap, washer, nut, and grip-providing end knob. The plywood base features a camera mount with four holes for mounting and lighting adjustments. A camera tripod screw and printed parts are used to attach the camera, customizable in size depending on materials used. The 'end knob' features knurling from a Thingiverse design.
