Camera Enclosure Dome for using PTZ Camera outside

This enclosure allows you to use an inexpensive PTZ camera intended for indoor use outside. I designed the enclosure for the use of an Amcrest ProHD 1080P WiFi 2MP (1920TVL) Indoor Pan/Tilt Security Wireless IP Camera IP2M-841B or similar interior camera outside. It is designed to be hung upside down (to prevent water infiltration.) I have used it for several years with good results. The camera can be PoE powered or using a 5v wall wart and connected via WiFi. (IMHO PoE is much more reliable.) There is no opening for wire so that the user can decide exactly where the case needs to have the wire enter, so you will have to drill a hole for the wire in the side or bottom of the base. The project consists of a "Base" for mounting to the structure, a "Camera Mounting Plate" for mounting the camera to the base and concealing any connections, a "Camera Spacer" for raising the camera off the plate so that it is high enough to clearly view out the dome, a "Dome Sleeve" for mounting the dome high enough to clear the top of the camera, a "Flex Seal" for sealing the dome sleeve to the base. This should be printed with TPU so(flex) so that it acts as a gasket. The dome is connected to the "Dome Sleeve " with pre drilled holes and tapped holes in the dome (bought on amazon) and sealed with silicone caulk. The screws are mainly #4 stainless steel sheetmetal screws except for the screw s which hold the dome to the dome sleeve (4-40 stainless machine screws) and a 1/4-20 machine screw which mounts the camera to the "mounting plate". Several camera spacers are included which you can swap out or stack in case the camera you are using is a little taller or shorter than the Amcrest camera which I used. Print Settings Printer brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Infill: 20% Filament brand: Gizmodorks Filament color: Gray - White if it will be exposed to the sun Filament material: ABS or PETG Notes: This is the first camera enclosure I made (in 2018.) I've made 2 new ones using higher domes with a smaller footprint. One fits on the top of a fencepost and the other hangs upside down from an arbor. They are a little more refined. I will post those soon. The acrylic dome reflects infrared light so when it is used at night the camera mounted LEDs reflect inside the dome and distort the image. I recommend leaving the IR LEDs off and using an external light source.
