Camera/camcorder stabilizer holder
thingiverse
I struggled to find a suitable camera holder or stabilizer for my YouTube videos, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. After conducting research, I discovered that high-quality holders were specifically designed for action cameras, leaving me with limited options. Undeterred, I turned to Fusion 360 and spent 20 minutes modeling my own design from scratch. The printer required an 11-hour run to complete the project, but the end result was well worth it. Initially, I had envisioned a base length of 22 cm, which is the maximum allowed by my printer. However, I soon realized that this would be insufficient for my needs, so I extended the design to 25 cm in length. To assemble the final product, I had to cut and interlock the individual pieces. Now that I have this custom-made holder, I'm able to capture smoother running and chasing shots for my videos, which has greatly improved their overall quality. The handles are secured with traditional screws, while the camera mount utilizes a 29mm long 1/4 inch screw that I happened to have on hand in my garage.
