Camera Body Clip

This design eliminates the hassle of carrying a camera with a strap around your neck. Ever bend down or go hiking with your camera? Even a simple walk requires you to have a hand on your camera, making it feel cumbersome and unnatural. This clip allows you to easily keep your camera by your side and have quick access whenever you need it. It feels natural and out of the way, giving you confidence in its design. I've removed the neck strap and replaced it with a wrist strap key chain from a dollar store. When I'm wearing it on my shoulder, I clip one end to my bag for extra security. You also have the option to mount it to the wall, perfect for photographers who own multiple D/SLRs. This is a strong clip that can withstand heavy use. I've tested several with a breakage test and found that at 100% infill, it will snap cleanly if you force it to break. At 25% and 20% infill, it bends instead of breaking. Printing everything at 0.1 mm provides the smoothest slide and best quality experience. You can also print it on its side for added strength. If you're not happy with the fit, you can try printing it at a different layer height or use a little sanding to get a tighter fit. I recommend printing the SlideMount at 0.1 mm for optimal results. The black version is printed at 0.1 mm and the white version is printed at 0.3 mm, depending on your printer's capabilities. To attach the clip, you'll need a 1/4 diameter, 20 thread per inch, 1/2 inch countersunk screw, which can be found at home depot for under $1. I've included a photo of my print settings below. Pay attention to the supports and resolution when slicing your object, as some slicers have specific support directions. Post-printing, you may want to do some light sanding around the slide path and mount, depending on your printer's capabilities.
