A soccer ball in the 2014 World Cup was equipped with six cameras for a novel Adidas press tool that captured 360-degree spherical videos from its viewpoint. The ball's structure comprised of six nodes, each featuring a rigid nylon camera holder/housing, a machined polycarbonate lens, and a molded expanded foam form. Moreover, it had two data/power ports for accessing the camera's SD card data, recharging the system, and facilitating diagnostics and troubleshooting.
