Camera and Light boom for 3D printer
thingiverse
This project is designed to equip your printer with an adjustable boom, enabling you to position a camera and two LED lights for optimal viewing of your build platform. The USB cable for the camera runs down the inside of the boom. The magnetic clamp that secures the boom can also hold one or two flexible LED lights powered by USB. No drilling is required on either your printer or the parts included in this project. In addition to printing the provided parts, you will need: * A high-quality USB camera with a wide-angle or fish-eye lens (such as the NT99141 OTG webcam or the mini USB 5M retractable clip webcam). * Rare-earth disc magnets (like the D12-1.5mm pull-force 1.5KG one-side 3M adhesive strong rare-earth magnets or the 15x5mm magnet cheap super-strong permanent NdFeB magnet for kids and adults DIY projects). * USB LED lamps (such as the bright 28-LED USB mini light flexible computer lamp laptop PC desk reading pink new). * An M8 or 5/16 bolt and nut (you can print one if needed). * A dual-port USB charger and some USB extension cables. * Screws or hot glue to secure the camera in place. * A refined sense of color coordination.
