This adapter lets you attach anything that uses the hot shoe/accessory shoe to a Go-Pro compatible mount. To create a DIY boom mic, I combined it with an extra shotgun mic and a broom handle Go-Pro mount adapter from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1132874. I used a standard knob/bolt from my Go-Pro and bought an M5 wing nut for the other end.
