This revised design offers an upgrade over the original, relocating the nut to sit inside. Consequently, the nut now presses against plastic when tightened, preventing it from being pushed out each time. This redesign should function well without adhesives holding the nuts in place, but a small drop of super glue might be beneficial if they tend to come loose. Although I haven't yet printed this design, that will soon change. It's uncertain whether supports are necessary, and the ideal orientation may require some experimentation. One possible approach is printing it upright, which could potentially eliminate the need for supports.
