My team required safeguarding an HD camcorder (Sony AX-33) from dust particles. I sought to utilize glass for effortless cleaning and enhanced picture quality, yet was dissatisfied with the current array of Camcorder Environmental Enclosures available on the market, so I devised a custom solution. This design functioned admirably, without necessitating pressurization of the enclosure. The tripod in use is a Sony model, while all other hardware components are sourced from McMaster Carr; consult the drawing for a comprehensive Bill Of Materials (BOM). This particular design was printed on a Fortus 450 with nylon material, but any 3D printer equipped with a 10" x 10" build plate will suffice. The enclosure is designed to print without supplementary supports.
