I wanted to get a clear view of the level from inside the truck cab as we drove along. With the tailgate being quite high, I had to mount it on the curved section where it swoops back, which is perfect since the level functions best when it's vertical. To make this work seamlessly, I designed a custom wedge that would position the level for optimal operation.
