Cambridge 6800 Galvanometer Mirror Mounting Jig

A straightforward jig that allows you to install a new mirror onto your scanner perfectly centered and flat is presented here. This design should work effectively for most 6800 clone scanners, as well as potentially other similar models. I have created the jig with 6.0 and 6.1mm wide mirror slots since these sizes fit the mirrors that I possess; however, different widths can be made if required. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Printrbot Plus Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 15% Notes: I had to design this jig with the scanner and mirror slot slightly oversized in order to compensate for my printer's limitations. You might need to scale it up or down a little bit in order to get a perfect fit on your printer.
