Small bronze Cambodian Bhikshatana, 12th century CE, now housed at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. According to its description on artsmia.org, in one of his many incarnations, the Hindu god Shiva roams through the forest disguised as a beggar, clad only in a loincloth and carrying a walking stick and rosary. This small icon likely belonged to a family altar, showcasing that both Hindu and Buddhist deities were revered in Cambodia.
