This is the fourth iteration of the Vertical Wind turbine. It has been replaced by the next version, thingiverse.com/thing:16505 Mk6 has been printed by Imitation, and unfortunately did not meet expectations. New variation on source will enable solid blades, and provide the option to select the hole diameter in the blade... Added optional tabs to ensure sharp end sticks firmly to the build plate. Thickness adjustable in code. Changes include: * After an intriguing email from my father/mentor, the wing profile has changed to apply forces inward to counteract centrifugal forces of the turbine. This design should also increase turbine torque while lowering its speed. Additionally, it may enable self-starting of the turbine due to the angle of lifting forces on the blades. * Employed a negative space reinforcement system. Slice the model with a low fill setting to utilize this system effectively. Sections are actually divided into pieces, placed very close together. The proximity will cause them to be fused together during printing, and strength depends on shell thickness. * Improved wing mounting on top and base supports * Implemented support and support-less atomic wing sections. This allows for balanced placement of the sections
