CAM LEVER ASSEMBLY (5/16-18 CARRIAGE BOLTS)
thingiverse
This is a design for an over-center cam handle clamp. It can be used with T-slot framing as a way to clamp down items. It uses a 5/16-18 standard hex nut and whatever length 5/16-18 carriage bolt is necessary for your clamping application. The handle was designed in three parts in order to eliminate the need for printing with supports while optimizing the direction of the print for best stress distribution. All of the parts may be printed without supports. Once complete, line drill the three holes in the handle parts with a 1/4" diameter drill, then pin together with three of the pins, driving them in with a hammer or arbor press. You can apply glue to the mating faces of the left-middle-right lever pieces if you want, but in my experience it has not been necessary. You need to make three of the cam lever pins and one of each of the other parts.
