Calymene
sketchfab
A trilobite specimen, specifically a Calymene, was discovered in the scanning room of FunMorph at UAntwerpen, a facility owned by Jamie MacLaren. The possible origin of this fossil is linked to the Bristol area in Great Britain. Using photogrammetry technology, the digitization process was completed, as described on http://mielke-bio.info/falk/photogrammetry. For those interested, the data can be downloaded from http://mielke-bio.info/share/calymene_photos.tar.gz, a file weighing approximately 600 MB in size. Alternatively, an improved model can be obtained from http://mielke-bio.info/share/calymene_meshroom.tar.gz, which is roughly 70 MB in size.
With this file you will be able to print Calymene with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Calymene.
