Calvin and Hobbes Stencil for a bleach design shirt project. 1. Place a piece of cardboard inside the shirt to flatten the fabric and protect the backside of the shirt from being bleached through. 2. Fill a spray bottle with a solution of bleach water 1:1 water to bleach. 3. Gently mist over the top of the area that you want to bleach over the stencil. 4. Wait until the bleach has faded the shirts to the color that you want. Then dunk in a tub of cold water to rinse the bleach off. From experience: take a paper towel and dab the mist and bleach off the top of the stencil before picking it up. If not when you pick up the stencil it will drip bleach all over the shirt. Also I recommend doing it outside wearing old clothing. Hang up while you finish your set of shirts without folds and wash after.
