Mountain Calcite with Two Fossilized Snails Found in Castromonte, Valladolid. The mountain calcite, primarily composed of calcium carbonate (CaCO3), is the dominant geological environment within the municipality of Castromonte. These Cenozoic era rocks may occasionally display fossilized fauna inclusions: in this case, a snail impression and part of another shell are visible. This model was created using Agisoft Metashape (109 photographs) and scaled and edited with Blender.
