Caliper Holder (Analog)

Caliper Holder (Analog)

thingiverse

This is a simple caliper holder designed from scratch since none of the ones available on Thingiverse met my expectations. Two mounting hole versions exist - one with holes aligned for shelf mounting and another three-hole version providing additional support. PETG prints work well, but optimal results require suitable print settings. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Mk2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 40% Notes: A model rotation of 270 degrees on the X-axis in slic3r is recommended for printing, due to the front arms' 90-degree angle from the base. Supports are likely necessary. Post-Printing: A little filing was done to remove support material, resulting in a satisfactory outcome. How I Designed This: Fusion 360 was used for design, marking my first attempt at three-dimensional modeling.
