Extend your caliper to measure inside over lips, ridges and other obstructions with ease. You can opt for a long reach digital caliper for a reasonable price or simply extend your existing caliper. This convenient setup makes it much easier to accurately measure items you are drawing in 3D. Simply slip each extender over the caliper outside measurement marks and lock them into the slot already present on most calipers. These extenders feature a 0.5mm key that securely locks into these slots. This extender works perfectly with a Harbor Freight 93293 digital caliper, which has a curved measurement mark. I will soon publish an adapter for the more popular linear measurement mark. For maximum stability, consider filing a 0.5mm deep slot directly across from each inside top slot on most calipers in each upper measurement mark. Thanks for your time and consideration.
