My caliper was constantly draining its battery because it remained turned on, consuming power non-stop. The problem arose from its automatic activation when not fully closed and subsequent failure to shut off automatically. To resolve this issue, I crafted a custom case that ensures the caliper stays closed at all times. Minor tweaks might be necessary for an optimal fit, but in my case, it fit perfectly without any adjustments required.
