Previously, I purchased an inexpensive caliper from Harbor Freight; however, its foam component eventually detached. Located at the lower right of the caliper, this piece seemed like a placeholder. As I utilized the tool for designing hotend parts, I created a replacement. Simply print the design and insert it into the void left by the loose or missing foam piece. The provided FreeCAD files enable customization of size and shape for your holder. Additionally, you can extrude the part upward to create a lip and design a lid using the same template; however, I find that my current setup functions adequately without modifications.
