I spend most of my time creating 3D designs and models. My digital calipers are an indispensable tool for me. I use them daily, but about a month after replacing the battery, it suddenly died on me, leaving me scratching my head.\r\nAfter conducting some research, I discovered that many digital calipers drain their button cell batteries even when they're turned off.\r\nSince then, I've taken out the battery and only put it in when I need to use my calipers. This became a real hassle as I kept losing the battery or its cover in my cluttered workspace, which was frustrating to deal with.
