California Job Case Full & 1/5th Scale

A detailed model, fully scalable as desired, and a reduced-scale replica of the California Job Case, once extensively used by typesetters for movable type, are available. You may prefer to scale this down or simply use the smaller STL file since the full-size version is quite substantial at 817.5625mm x 422.275mm x 36.5125mm (32.1875" x 16.625" x 1.4375"). The reduced-scale STL file, CalJobCase5thScale.stl, is available and measures 163.51mm x 84.46mm x 7.3mm. The image of the type case in my hand is a 1/5th scale print made from PLA. When scaling down, be cautious not to reduce it so much that you lose the bottom thickness in your slicer. Using a 0.2mm layer thickness results in three bottom layers when scaled to 1/5th.
