Caliburn C4 K14 Parts
thingiverse
These are my modified parts that I created in order to use a K14 spring with the C4 Caliburn. Gets me to about 350 fps with Bamboo 2.0 darts. I use one X-type o ring and one regular O-ring on the plunger piece. There are two files included. 4BackB - The spring guide post has been widened to better guide the K14 - The guide walls around the post are thinner to accommodate the spring - The spring guide is significantly longer than stock. I've found that this reduces spring buckling and improves priming feel - Requires a 3 inch 4-40 screw. Basically like the one Slug includes in his kit, but longer. - For some reason it flipped 180 degrees. Print it with the back of it down. 4plungerE12 - This is a combination of the two separate plunger pieces. I prefer to print it as one piece instead of two as my printer has no real issue with it. - The catch surface has extra material and is more vertical than stock. This makes catching more consistent at the expense of a stiffer trigger. - Plunger walls thinner to accommodate bigger spring - Spring post inside plunger made smaller due to increased post on 4backB piece You'll need to make threse parts strong. 5 or more perimeters and solid top/bottoms, lots of infill, etc. BackB likes to crack around where the spring rests, so make sure there's lots of material there. Shout out to Remzak for the design on the old Caliburn. I used his dimensions when figuring out the sizes. I'm marking this WIP as I just got it together in the last 24 hours and not sure if any more design modifications are needed.
