I had significant issues with print quality when it comes to infills or sharp perimeter turns. The infills were printed unevenly, and my nozzle dug through or rattled over them. Additionally, the second extruder's nozzle bumped against the print when crossing the infills. The guys at Maker's Tool Works suggested that I had a flow rate issue likely due to my flow rate being too high. This caught me off guard since I calibrated my extruder as Thomas Sanladerer explained on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUPfBJz3I6Y) and got nearly perfect results. However, after reading the article at http://ohmeye.com/2013/reprap-extrusion-flow-calibration/, I reduced my flowrate from 105 to 98 (about 7%) for my current filament spool. The outcome was astonishing. No bumps, crashes, or plowing occurred. Therefore, I created these two calibration cubes to help me determine the right flowrate after a filament change. These models don't take long to print but have enough infill layers to set your flowrate correctly. Since my printer has a moving bed, I made the model longer on the Y axis to see the infill when the bed moves towards me. Firstly, I used the 60mm version (Y-axis), but it was too short in my opinion. So I created an 80mm version. You can find both versions here.
