calibration tool with printable 110mm o.d. bushing or bearing 70mm i.d. used for laser cyclops or another project

I created my own version of a 110mm bearing by redesigning it several times until I came up with what worked. A video showing it in action can be found here https://youtu.be/ADo78XmgUA4, but keep in mind that friction on these bearings is still higher than actual bearings, so you'll need to adjust the motor power accordingly. For me, saving $40 for an actual bearing was worth it. The correct use of this bearing is with screws facing up, which allows the bottom flat edge of the inner part to support the outer part. Two screws are used to keep the parts together from vertical stress, and only vertical loads downward should be applied, while gravity and weight of the item limit motion and rotation to only the Z axis. If printed correctly, it should have reasonably tight tolerances, with a maximum load rating estimated at 5 to 20 lbs depending on infill percentage, only tested in PLA. I also created a printable tool so users can see what inner bearing they need based on their machine's calibration settings. To use the tool: 1) Print out the calibration tool. 2) Print the outer part. 3) Download or create an inner part value using OpenSCAD. 4) Print the inner part, repeating as needed. The inner parts are labeled in micrometers, so 500 micrometers is equivalent to 0.5mm, and the tool outputs values in mm to undersize. As time permits, I'll be uploading undersized inner bearing parts based on machine calibration settings for users to print. To calibrate your machine using the tool, print it out and check how your machine separates lines. This needs to be precise. See if you can lift up different areas of the wheel as the inside parts are different spaces away from the outer circle. When it's far enough away, look at the number on top of the section that separates – I'd recommend going about 1-2 settings thicker.
