Calibration/Test Circle
thingiverse
This 100mm circle serves multiple purposes: 1) The circular "brim" shape is engineered to be exactly one layer high. To accommodate different print settings, versions are provided in both .1mm and .2mm thicknesses; make sure to use the correct version for your printer's specifications. To utilize it as a brim around your model, insert your design into the circle using software like TinkerCad, Microsoft 3D Builder, or Cura. Once combined, save the file and print accordingly. Customize these samples for various layer heights to assess your printer's overall performance across its entire range of layer height capabilities. 2) It can be used to guarantee that your printer is properly calibrated. 3) Measure it to determine whether a 100mm circle prints larger or smaller than expected. 4) Observe how Delta printers print circles as a series of connected straight lines.
