Calibration for Overhang and Retraction
thingiverse
This text is a guide on calibrating overhang and retraction settings for your 3D printer. The model features four overhangs (35, 45, 55, and 65 degrees) marked with numbers. Each overhang is spaced far enough apart to test retraction. The goal is no strings between overhang towers or droop under them. We discovered optimal settings were 2.5mm retraction at 40mm/s using Slic3r on Repetier Host for a MakerGear M2.
