This device is for calibrating the three axes, x and z, and it also serves to calibrate retraction-extrusion. It is also used to see possible deformations caused by excessive heat of the bed, and other circumstances of filament emission. The cubes have dimensions 2mm, 1cm, 10cm. After printing, let them cool down completely, then remove them. Any deviation, either by excess or defect, serves to calibrate the steps for each axis. I hope it is helpful. Good luck.
