Cales de montage - structure DE200/DU
thingiverse
This is a game of calibrations, designed to correct structural defects, particularly during printing such as: * Warped plate and print detachment (warping) * Non-adherence to object values and dimensions * Non-verticality or horizontality of prints * Wooble * Resistance on one or more axes (X, Y, Z) Their goal is four precise points: * An optimal, straight, and stable assembly of a DE200 kit * A precise structural adjustment of an already assembled DE200 * A stable structure for secure transportation * A durable fixation in a box or on a stand to maintain stability and perfect parallelism, thus improving print quality Required material: * A 400mm x 500mm x 20mm minimum plate * 8 M6 screws of 50mm (length to be adapted according to the thickness of your plate) * 8 M6 hexagonal head bolts (6 flats) * The wrench provided with your DE200 * A small special key to print (optional) * Assembly instruction in PDF The drilling holes for the plate are provided in the instructions. There are two online tutorials: - DE200 ADJUSTMENT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flJzn38HHHc - ALTERNATIVE ASSEMBLY OF DE200: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RtukI-wLfQ Number of elements to print: * Left lateral calibration X1 * Right lateral calibration X1 * Front calibration X1 * Rear calibration X1 * Screw extension X8 * Mounting key X1 Supports required for calibrations. No support needed for the key and screw extensions. ----------------------------------------------------- Returns: (11 people) Difficulty level: 1 = very easy >>> 5 = very difficult - Drilling plate: 3/5 - Printing calibrations: 1.5/5 (mainly related to supports according to slicers used) - Printing bolts and accessories: 1/5 Improvements noted: * Five people report a reduction in noise during operation * Seven people report a significant improvement in prints (2 with expert pack, 3 with original head, 1 with customized head, 3 unspecified) * Six people report the stability preserved during transport * Five people have adjusted their DE200s * Two people have assembled their DE200 from scratch using the calibration method * One person finds that the tool rubs against the calibration plate when tightening (this depends on how the holes are drilled with a portable drill, but it is not an essential element) One person comments that the colors are nothing... (no further comment... choose your color) One person mentions that the screw adapters are too long in height. A shorter version will be available soon. One person has a problem assembling with an MK8 extruder type. (In fact, the calibrations were designed for machines equipped with official Dagoma parts; however, a compatible version can be considered.) Your opinion is important. Please feel free to leave a comment with your feedback. Thank you. Updated November 2018: Following a return regarding a DE200 with an original extruder, the current calibration obstructs the movement of the lever for inserting/ removing filament. For those in this situation, I have put online a version of the AR V2 Extru Orig calibration, which will allow you to enjoy the calibrations and leave the actions on the extruder lever free. (Thanks to Guillaume for this return!) Updated February 2019: Added a rear calibration V3 for DE200 bi-color (double extruder+) reduction in material, redesigned design, easier access to the locking key. Remixed screw extensions (shorter) Remixed front calibration (same improvements as rear calibration) Adaptable to Disco Ultimate, with the difference that lateral calibrations are no longer necessary (improved bases on DU) only front and rear calibrations.
