My goal was to design a CalDigit TS4/3 under desk mount that would fit my needs: + Multiple mounting options, under desk, desk top, wall mount etc. + Tabs that to retain the dock but allow for easy removal should you need to remove the dock temporarily. + Screws or a large surface for VHB tape/dual lock. + Keep decent airflow all the way around to prevent overheating. + Easily printable on smaller beds, so a two part design. + No supports or advanced printing modes needed. + Looks nice! When mounting the two halves you should be mindful of the fitment around the dock which is quite critical, for this reason I chose to use 3M VHB tape rather than screwing to my desk. A close fit will ensure that the tabs can adequately hold the dock in place but still be able to flex out of the way when enough force is applied.
