Caldigit Element Dock Desk Mount
cults3d
I created for my dock by Caldigit a simple mount. My desk is based on an Ikea kitchen countertop (https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/karlby-countertop-walnut-veneer-70335212/). Heights of countertop: 38mm OR 1 1/2" As well there are two holes for screws, if you want to tighten the mount (optional). I just used a double sided tape (https://www.amazon.com/HitLights-Double-Sided-Heavy-16-4ft/dp/B07TC16SZ7?th=1) to stick the mount on the back. There is as well a backplate. You see the below frame is closed. I needed to do so since I use as well a Hue light strip, which is taped on the back of my desk. Now the desk mount is between the light strip and the desk but the light strip can stick on the desk mount. Disclaimer: The mount is snug. If your printer is well calibrated it will fit perfectly. I thought this is important since I want to plug and unplug w/o holding the dock.
