This likely ancient monument and burial chamber discovered in 2014 typically lies beneath the water surface of a Victorian reservoir in Calderdale, England. A prolonged period of drought combined with engineering problems has led to the water level dropping significantly, allowing the feature to become visible once more. The surrounding area is teeming with prehistoric artifacts, including burial mounds and circular formations. An exceptionally high number of stone tools from the Mesolithic era have also been found along the shoreline. One of the most striking features of this particular cist is the presence of notches on its eastern and western vertical supports. When viewed at a lower level, these notches align perfectly with each other. Unfortunately, the capstone covering the cist could not be identified.
