The artefact originates from the settlement situated above the Escoural Cave, part of the esteemed collection at the Museu Nacional de Arqueologia and subsequently incorporated into the Convent Museum of São Domingos' holdings. A quadrangular ceramic weight used for a loom is its primary form. Both tops are marked with a distinct perforation pattern.
