Calcite Vase No. 43 of 47, recovered from the cache at Mleiha, Sharjah, UAE. The discovery was made by the Sharjah Archaeology Authority. Dating back to the 2nd-3rd Century CE. A total of 388 photos were taken. Every step in the scanning process has been completed - alignment, scaling, modeling, cleaning, simplification, unwrapping, texturing, and meshing - using Reality Capture. J.Mª Córdoba, author of La era de Mleiha: navegantes y caravanas antes del Islam, featured this vase on page 92. The book is part of the collection "In the Borders of Near East" published by the Museo Arqueológico Nacional in 2016.
