My daughter is totally into Anime these days, while I've been focusing on crafting sun catchers. So, let's take a look at Calcifer. This simple sun catcher was printed without any fancy multi-material mechanisms. The frame functions similarly to the lead in a stained glass window - it needs to be printed with transparent filament and feature a change to black at the layer where the lead lines would typically appear. Once finished, the colored pieces are then attached into their respective "gaps" within the frame using PVA glue, which I allowed to set over several days. Due to the extremely tight tolerances, you may need to lightly sand the parts down to ensure they fit properly depending on your printer's specific tolerances.
