This 100mm tower vase will print rapidly and serves as a primary tool for experimenting with live changes to printing parameters in order to achieve balanced extrusion. TIPS: For quick testing, scale down to 50% for a fast photo. A regular polygon has a polar equation of r = (c / n) * (1 + cos(nθ)), where c is the radius of the circumcircle, n is the number of sides, θ is the angular offset, and φ is the polar angle. Based on this, a regular n-gonal prism has the parametric equation of x = ccosφ, y = csinφ, and z = hφ, with parameters n and h. To obtain an n-gonal pyramid, replace the circumradius c in the parametric equation by (h / tan(π/n)), where h is the height of the pyramid. To twist the pyramid, replace the angular offset θ by φ + ωt, where ω is the total axial twist over the height of the pyramid.
