Cake Stand
thingiverse
I designed this cake stand for my wife's birthday with slots for ribbon in mind. To assemble it, print the top upside down and the base right side up. The parts fit together seamlessly without the need for glue or any additional adhesives. If you have access to variable layer heights, such as those offered by Slic3r Prusa Edition, consider increasing the resolution of the shallow angle parts of the base to minimize visible steps. Alternatively, print it at a higher resolution like 0.1/0.05 for a smoother finish. The top should be printed in 0.2mm thickness and is surprisingly sturdy considering its design.
