I needed a custom enclosure for my lm2596 module and couldn't find one that suited my needs, so I decided to design and build one from scratch. This DIY project comes in three flavors: 1. Caja1 is designed for when the wires are routed outside of the panel. 2. Caja2 is ideal for applications where the wires enter and exit behind the panel. 3. Caja3 features a unique setup where the wires enter from the back and the outputs are via banana plug. All three versions share the same frontplate design. An optional feature is the inclusion of a voltage regulator knob, which requires some modifications to use effectively. To activate it, I cut two small windows (marked) in the panel and inserted a 0.5mm diameter wire that connects to the preset. For this purpose, I used an automatic pen spring. Alternatively, you can also access the voltage regulation via a small hole using a screwdriver. Good luck with your project!
