I employed 2.5 mm plexiglass in my design. I reconfigured the layout of the doors to feature one at the front and another on the right side. Two STL files have been modified (attached). For PLA passage, I utilized two items from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2047638, with one reduced in height to match LACK thickness.
