Cagette à reine pour cellules naturelles sur cadre
thingiverse
A simple and quick-to-print box that allows you to make good use of all the royal cells present on the frame when creating an artificial swarm without introducing a queen, for example. This also prevents an artificial swarm from dispersing in nature because all born queens have swarmed with 3 bees each. The PLA will work perfectly. My best method from May to July: - Place in order in a hive or partitioned beehive: a provision frame with plenty of pollen, a fresh brood frame with eggs, an operculated brood frame, and a warm partition. The whole under feeder heavy syrup or candy. - Pass exactly 3 days later to destroy all operculated royal cells (raised on old larvae fed honey bread) and identify the remaining royal cells and their progress. - Print the number of queen boxes corresponding to the number of accessible cells. - Pass again in 6 or 7 (but not 8) days to place the boxes. Your queens will be born within the next 3 days: Pass 1 to 2 times a day until you have collected the desired number of virgin queens. Do not wait too long to avoid a queen escaping and swarming.
