CageLight2
thingiverse
This light bears some resemblance to CageLight0, but presents several key differences: its grid is constructed from offset hexagons alone, resulting in a circular arrangement that mirrors the shape of the internal light source. The lamp base is identical to my existing LED lamps, yet it features a cutout for a wall-powered LED light, just like many others available under "LED puck light" searches. Note that this design poses printing challenges due to its thin hexagonal cage, which may be dislodged by an unstable hotend. My next iteration will address this issue with a larger, more robust hex cage. I successfully printed this prototype in approximately 17 hours at a 0.200 mm layer height.
