Cafe Racer remix

thingiverse

This is a reworked interpretation of the Cafe racer by Doug VANDERBILT, with all parts being original except for those tagged as Remix_ in front of their names. I've split the engine so it can be printed in two distinct colors. I modified the top plate by adding a chamfer to ensure a smooth fit against the gas tank, and I noticed that the handles were fitting very tightly, so I adjusted the holes to accommodate them better on the shocks. To create a kickstand that securely holds up the Cafe Racer, simply glue it under the frame; just measure the distance from the bottom of the frame to the table (with wheels on) and resize as needed, keeping in mind that it's printed at 250% - so it will be larger than you probably need. You'll notice some extra options compared to the original. There are choices available: single or dual front brakes, rear brakes or none, clipons or standard drag bars, a 1-tach setup or a combination of tach and speedo - the possibilities are endless, so it's up to you to decide what suits your style best.
