I made this tool specifically for installing the rear output seal on a TR6060 Tremec 6mt found in a 2004 Cadillac CTSV. Initially, I messed up the first seal by pushing it too far into the transmission since there isn't a machined lip to stop it. To avoid making the same mistake again, I designed this tool with a 70 or 72 mm base and a 40mm opening. For installation, I used a 30mm socket combined with a hammer, which ensured that the seal was set flush with the case of the transmission. This method is significantly better than how I did it the first time around. I printed this tool using supports touching the buildplate with 15% infill, making it easy to remove. For the overall print, I used 70% infill at a 0.3 resolution. The result is a sturdy tool that can withstand hammer blows and should be durable enough to lend to a friend after you're finished using it. This is my second design ever, and it's saved my skin.
