I could not find the PVC tube called for in the BOM locally, so I made a upgrade that uses ball bearings and 8mm all-thread for the shaft. The angle of the pedals are also adjustable. for each side you need: 2x end 1x bushing 1x spacer 1x bearing sleeve 6x M8 nut 2x 608 ball bearing 2x M8 washers or hackoholic's bearing washers 1x 180mm long M8 all-thread -Insert the bearing sleeve into the original pedal bracket. -push one end-piece onto the all-thread. -install two M8 nuts and jam together, push the end-piece back over the nuts. -install one washer, one bearing and the spacer. -insert the assembly into the bearing-sleeve. -install the next bearing followed by a washer and bushing and thighten everything togeher with another nut. (do not overtighten, check that the assembly is rotating freely) -Install a nut, followed by the last end-piece and another nut- -adjust the position according to the width and angle of the pedal. -install a jam-nut on the end. Now you can install the pedal and gear as described in the original build guide
